TERROIR ❦ VARIETIES

• Terroir : Geographical area of the Aspres, foothills of the Pyrenees. The soil of Trouillas is characterized by silty-clay soils and extremely stony on the surface. The vineyard is cultivated in integrated agriculture and benefits from a good exposure on the slopes of Mas Deu and on the terraces between Trouillas and Terrats.
• Varieties : Syrah Carignan Mourvèdre Grenache Noir
• Production : 15 000 bottles (75 cl) and 600 magnums (150 cl)

AGEING ❦ WINE MAKING

• Wine making : Maceration of destemmed and crushed grapes, daily pumping over and racking. Vatting for 28 days, put in barrels after malolactic fermentation.
• Aging : 12 months in oak barrels.

TASTING

Very intense ruby color.Intense aromas of red fruits on the nose.A very nice balance, round tannins and in the mouth notes of jammy red fruits, liquorice and a surprising freshness.

WINE AND DISH PAIRING

Goes perfectly with roasts, red meat and game.To be enjoyed with fine regional charcuterie.

Between 5 and 10 years.
