Geographical area from the Aspres, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The
terroir of Trouillas is characterized by silt-clay with an extremely stony
top-soil. The vineyard exploited in reasoned agriculture benefits from
good exposure on the slopes of Mas Deu and on the terrasse between
Trouillas and Terrats.
Grapes are destemmed and crushed. The wine is pumped over and
racked and returned each day for 28 days of maceration. Racking to
barrel takes place after malolactic fermentation in tank.
Very intense ruby colour.
High expression of red fruits on the nose.
Very well balanced, round tanins and notes of red jammy fruits in
mouth, liquorice and a surprising freshness.
Ideal pairing with « rôtis », red meats and garne. To taste with good
french delicatessen.
